It’s that time of year again! The weather is very warm and humid—just what one expects of Australia’s subtropical rainforest coast. It’s the time to stay in the shade, enjoy precious family and friends, and look forward to cooler the autumn season which will arrive sooner than we imagine.

Here at Galeru, the harvest is complete, the trees lush and healthy. This year, we collected a large quantity of Davidson plums (Davidsonia jerseyana), and a small amount of native tamarinds (Diploglottis smithii, campbellii and diphyllostegia). It is always exciting to be able to develop some wonderful new products, just what is planned with these fruits.

What’s new at Galeru? In addition to the delicious products and gifts included here for home use, Galeru has formulated a superb range of rainforest fruit products especially for use in restaurants, hotels and foodservice applications. At Galeru, we treasure our Australian natural heritage by re-planting native rainforest trees on land long ago cleared.  From these wonderful trees, we have created products both unique and exceptionally delicious.
